Description

This in-person workshop on ‘Girls & Physics’ will also include a physics Q&A. The session is led by Christina Astin, Coach for Physics Partners and hosted by School of Science and Technology Maidstone. Refreshments and the opportunity to network from 3.45pm.

Girls & Physics, plus physics Q&A

In our last session of the academic year we will look at some of the teaching techniques which can help to boost the confidence of all students, but girls especially, and lead to greater uptake at A level. We will also dedicate some of this session to answering some challenging GCSE physics questions plus any questions that colleagues would like to bring with them.

These sessions are for physics teachers, particularly non-specialists, early career teachers and teacher trainees. Technicians are also welcome to attend.

This CPD session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners and forms part of the Maidstone Physics Hub series of twilight sessions generously supported by the Colyer-Fergusson Charitable Trust.
