Join us for an hour of online subject knowledge CPD: Teaching Specific Heat Capacity with confidence, led by Neal Gupta, Physics Partners Coach.

This workshop supports non-specialist teachers and early career teachers in delivering the topic of specific heat capacity. We will look at why specific heat capacity matters in areas like climate science, material engineering and food and cooking. There will also be advice on how to deliver the required practical effectively. By the end of the workshop, attendees will feel confident teaching this key topic effectively.

This online session is for non-specialist physics teachers and early career teachers. Trainee teachers, technicians and teaching assistants are also welcome.

This CPD session is fully-funded and delivered by Physics Partners as part of the East Midlands Online Physics Hub programme. Sessions are run on a half termly basis.

Physics Partners is a charity that provides free support to physics teachers in state secondary schools in the UK. Their mission is to improve physics teaching and inspire students to consider studying physics at A-level.
