Needle Felted Autumn Decorations

This autumn Helen from Evendawn Arts will be back with us to deliver this beautiful seasonal workshop.

Across three relaxed, creative hours this is a great opportunity to try Needle Felting to create beautiful Autumn-themed decorations for your home. During the workshop you’ll have a choice between a few different designs including Toadstools, Pumpkins/Squashes and Toffee Apples, all suitable to hang or stand.

Needle Felting requires the use of special needles to felt wool together, which can then be manipulated into shapes and applied onto bases/given hanging strings to make the decorations.

It’s not a ‘speedy’ craft, as it takes time to felt the shapes, but you’ll be shown how to do this to build your chosen design, and many of the decorations will already have ‘bases’ ready for you to work on, so you can get straight on with making these fun Autumnal Decorations.

There is the requirement to comply with safety equipment instructions during the workshop - involving the wearing of protective leather finger guards during the felting of the designs. Felting needles are extremely sharp and therefore safety procedures will be in place to protect all participants.

Any level of experience welcome, as you’ll receive full tuition at every stage.

(A minimum age of 16 is required for the workshop participants, due to safety requirements).
