Family Session ~ Fused Glass Christmas Decorations

Description

This session is aimed at children with an accompanying parent. It is suitable for children 10+ years old, who must be accompanied for the whole session by a parent or guardian.

In this fun and festive workshop, you will create up to 4 unique hanging decorations. We will demonstrate and guide you in the basic skills of glass fusing.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. There is no glass cutting or previous skills necessary.

Starting with a blank shape, you will have the opportunity to create your own designs using a selection of accessory glass, including frit (crushed glass), stringers, glass dots and enamels.

Your colourful creations will be fired in the kiln ready to give as gifts or keep for yourself, in plenty of time for the festive season.

All materials and kiln firing are included. Extra pieces may be made on the day at an extra cost of £2.50 each, time permitting.
