The workshop will include short presentations, discussion and opportunities to practice some of the writing techniques.
Presenter - Mo Szulejewska
Mo is a pluralistic counsellor, seasoned journal keeper and an experienced trainer and workshop facilitator. Her experiential workshops are carefully crafted to offer an engaging and nurturing environment where participants can relax, reflect and recharge reflect while developing tools that can be used in both personal and professional life.
She has written articles on journaling that have appeared on the website of Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland and been published in Lapidus International Journal (Autumn 2019) and contributed a chapter to the book, Transformation through Journaling – a Complete Guide for Coaches, Counsellors and Clients (Routledge, 2021).
In planning and delivering workshops, Mo draws on both her own experience with journaling and her extensive post-qualification study exploring links between creativity and wellbeing - Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes (Metanoia institute), Writing for Wellbeing (Cardiff University), Journaling and Therapeutic Practice (Therapeutic Writing Institute, USA) and Certificate in Creative Supervision for Counsellors (Jill Carter Training).
