Welcome to the Epione Training and Consultancy website. By accessing this website, booking training, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

These terms apply to all users of this website and all individuals and organisations who purchase, book, attend, or commission training or consultancy from Epione Training and Consultancy Ltd (“Epione”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1. About Epione

Epione Training and Consultancy Ltd provides trauma-informed training, consultancy, supervision, and professional development services to organisations and individuals across the UK and beyond.

2. Use of This Website

By using this website, you agree:
- Not to misuse the site or attempt to access restricted areas
- Not to copy, reproduce, or distribute Epione materials without permission
- That all information you provide to us is accurate and lawful

We reserve the right to restrict access to the site if these terms are breached.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and all Epione training materials are the intellectual property of Epione Training and Consultancy Ltd, including but not limited to:
- Course content
- Training slides and materials
- Workbooks and resources
- Training models, frameworks, and approaches
- Logos, branding, and written content

These materials may not be copied, shared, reproduced, recorded, or delivered by others without explicit written permission from Epione.

Attendance on a course does not grant permission to reuse or teach Epione materials.

4. Training Bookings and Payment

When you book training with Epione:
- Your booking is confirmed only once payment or a purchase order is received
- Full payment terms will be agreed at the point of booking
- Prices listed on the website may be updated at any time

Epione reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion.

5. Cancellations and Substitutions

Open Courses (individual bookings)
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course: full refund or transfer
- Cancellations within 14 days: no refund, but a substitute delegate may attend
- Non-attendance without notice: no refund

Commissioned / In-house Training
Cancellation terms will be specified in the service agreement or booking contract. Costs may still apply where preparation, travel, or trainer time has been committed.

6. Changes to Courses

Epione reserves the right to:
- Change course dates, venues, or trainers where necessary
- Update course content in line with best practice and emerging evidence
- Cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances (in which case a full refund or transfer will be offered)

Epione is not liable for any additional costs incurred by delegates (e.g., travel or accommodation).

7. Delegate Responsibilities

By attending Epione training, delegates agree to:
- Behave respectfully toward trainers and other participants
- Engage in a manner consistent with trauma-informed principles
- Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or case examples shared in training

Epione reserves the right to remove a participant from training if their behaviour is disruptive or unsafe. No refund will be provided in such cases.

8. Certificates and Accreditation

Certificates of attendance or completion are issued only when:
- Full attendance requirements are met
- Any required participation elements are completed

Certificates do not grant licence to deliver Epione training unless part of a formal Epione Train the Trainer or licensed programme agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

Epione training provides professional learning and development. It does not replace professional judgement, supervision, or organisational policy.

Epione is not liable for how training content is interpreted or applied in practice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Epione shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, reputation, or opportunity.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Epione processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

Information provided during booking or training will be used only for:
- Managing bookings
- Issuing certificates
- Communicating about relevant training and services

We do not sell or share data with third parties.

11. Recording of Training

Epione training sessions (online or in person) must not be recorded, photographed, or shared without explicit written permission.

12. Force Majeure

Epione is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to illness, travel disruption, or public emergencies.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
