If your job role requires practical training, we recommend our in-class safe isolation of electrical supplies course (including CVD test and practical assessment) to be undertaken every 3 years with this online course as an annual refresher.

    No prior qualifications are required. It’s suitable for anyone working on or around electrical systems who needs to understand Safe Isolation.

  • Does this course include a practical element?

    The online course covers all theoretical and procedural steps. If required, you can arrange an optional 1-to-1 practical assessment with Ember Compliance to demonstrate competence in person.

  • Will I get a certificate?

    Yes! Upon passing the final quiz (70% pass mark), you’ll receive a downloadable certificate. This may be CPD-accredited depending on your employer’s requirements.

  • How long is the certificate valid for?

    Certificates are valid for 12 months. You’ll be invited to refresh your training before it expires.

  • What if I fail the quiz?

    You have up to three attempts to pass. If unsuccessful after three tries, you’ll need to repurchase access to try again.
