The Berwick Literary Festival is celebrating its 9th year and is proud to
contribute both to the economic, social and cultural life of the town, as well
as to the UK’s rich tradition of world-class literary festivals. The 4-Day event
in October is at the heart of the Festival, attracting acclaimed local, national
and international contributors. The programme provides something for all – a
tantalizing menu of events and talks. Additionally, through a diversity of
events and activities throughout the year, we live our literary heritage by
bringing words to life for people of all ages in Berwick through - Schools' and
Young People's Programme, - Poetry Reading in Care Homes, - A Rotary Short Story
competition - Collaboration with the ‘Wilson’s Tales From the Borders’ project
