She has taught day courses for nannies and au pairs which include recipes for special diets e.g. gluten/vegan/dairy free recipes, and she can inform about the nutritional needs of children and how to deal with fussy eaters. The courses are also very useful for gap year students or for those wanting to cook in chalets for skiing holidays, and include information about food hygiene and nutrition. The courses can be very specific if desired, e.g. just about pastry making, vegetarian cookery, patisserie, sauces or bread making.

Our specialist school and children's home in Oxford is for children and young people aged between 8 and 19 with autism and severe learning difficulties who benefit from an autism specific environment. Our Academy tailors the national curriculum to students’ individual needs with a strong focus on gaining life skills that help independence. This includes the offer of flexible residential opportunities in our onsite Children’s Home. Our aim is to provide our children and young people with the skills and opportunities that will equip them to live purposeful lives. For our students who spend time in our residential provision, this includes a waking day curriculum which focuses on educational, social and emotional development as well as sensory aspects of the curriculum.
