he Seva Care Group is an innovative, specialist, multi-disciplinary support provider based in London supporting those with learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, behavioural, emotional and social needs and other complex needs. The LLDC teamed up with A New Direction who run the Hub and bring this initiative to life for both young people and employers.  Young people can take advantage of the paid opportunities we publicise, the support we give for freelancers and start-ups, and industry connections we help foster through mentoring and networking, as well as sector specific careers advice and coaching. At the Good Growth Hub, all internship opportunities pay at least the London Living Wage of £11.95 per hour – but we strive for higher.  For businesses, the Good Growth Hub is an excellent resource to establish good working standards and to become more inclusive. Employers are able to both nurture and draw from a talent pipeline that’s eager to show what they can do. The whole team including the admin staff is qualified in the dental field. Our lecturers and Internal Quality Assurers have vast experience in the field and some are examiners for the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN). We thrive to improve the British dental system through training and releasing qualified and committed professionals into the field of dental services. Our Philosophy The Training Centre takes pride in fostering a sense of determination and professionalism in our students. We achieve this by promoting excellence, integrity and honesty which we believe goes far beyond the classroom. We recognise the need to focus on each student as an individual in order to bring out the best in them. Our History The Training Centre was founded in January 2014 with a vision to provide a wide spectrum of dental professionals. The Centre is growing from strength to strength and now has 2 Centres in Wembley and Southall. Learning environment We have face to face classes at the Training Centre, online classes as well as blended classes. Sessions are carried out in a relaxed environment and are tutor led so you have an opportunity to ask questions and take part in group discussions and interact with other students. If you miss a session, do not worry, sessions are recorded so you can always catch up later. On completion of the syllabus, thorough revision classes are carried out in preparation for the exam. Welcome to Prendergast School. It is an honour and a privilege to be Prendergast School’s eleventh Headteacher and to work with staff, students and families. We take pride in building strong relationships with students and their families. We have a long history of providing exceptional education to young people. We were founded in 1880 as Prendergast Grammar School for Girls on a site in Catford provided by the Leathersellers’ Company, which then funded the school’s move to its current site in 1995. We are now part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of schools, a group of three secondary and two primary schools as well as Prendergast 6th Form. We are very fortunate to be part of the Federation and receive a lot of support from the Leathersellers’ Company, that helps our students succeed. We are very proud of our last Ofsted judgement of Outstanding in all areas, our third Outstanding judgement in a row. We are described in the most recent report as ‘exceptional’ and having ‘exemplary attitudes to learning’ across the school. We do achieve great academic results at Prendergast School (more information is on the website). However, as a parent or carer you also want to know that your child is happy and safe. This is very important to us and we pride ourselves that students feel confident in school and thrive under our care. It is important that when students leave after their time with us that they do so as well-rounded individuals who have had many different experiences, able to overcome challenges and most importantly to learn from their mistakes. It is important that students get involved in school life as much as possible. We have a wide range of extra-curricular activities and we do encourage all students to get involved. We expect all students to attend school journeys. Communication is very important to us. We always like to know what we do well and what we can improve on further.
