lingdale golf club
Members and visitors are treated to an excellent golf course which challenges
golfers of all abilities with spectacular views, stunning scenery and wildlife
and is described by many as the best golf course setting in the County. Peter
Aliss described the course as a "hidden gem within the Midlands" and Tony
Jacklin, winning Ryder Cup Captain during a visit in 1989 said it has 'probably
the toughest opening three holes in the Midlands'. The golf course is easily
accessible from Loughborough or Leicester and is only 10 minutes from either
junction 22 or 23 of the M1 motorway.
