Life is busy. So much to do and achieve. Days turn into weeks, time is always
slipping away as we try to fit everything into an already overfilled schedule.
We lack the space to befriend ourselves. To listen to what our body and heart
really desires for us. This can leave us feeling tired, with headaches, anxious,
unable to sleep, full of aches and pains, a sense of being unwell but unable to
pinpoint what or why. My experience of this, left my body exhausted and my mind
in a state of confusion. Eventually my body refused to play the game of life at
the pace I demanded. I knew deep down something had to change. I returned to my
practice of yoga, I studied the breath, its connection to our emotions and
thoughts. I learnt how the body holds the secrets to our own happiness. I
studied yoga nidra, different meditation and awareness practices, relaxation
techniques and the power of visualisation. I watched how as we layer these
practices into one long experience it has the power to shift entire groups of
people from a sense of dis-ease into complete ease. This makes my heart sing, to
take just an hour with a group of people and create a space to enable them to
reconnect to their most authentic selves. The world needs more ease and love,
