My personal journey to leadership was a struggle, in which I had to persevere,
persist and bring my own ‘seat to the table,’ as there was not always one
available. I know first-hand how difficult it is to be courageous and to
persevere, when life is fraught with challenges and obstacles. Life, however, is
too precious to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled.
