Our College was founded in 1855 by Dr John Propert for children of medical
professionals who had fallen on hard times. His life’s work was guided by the
principles of benevolence, excellence and the development of character and
spirit. Over 160 years later, these same values inform everything we do. Never
are these more evident than in the lessons you might see on a tour of the
College. Bright, sparky, engaged pupils supported by talented and dedicated
teachers provide a unique and inspirational learning environment. Each pupil is
