The One Community Trust (OCT) was created in September 2019 and currently consists of 4 primary schools, plus 5 Local Authority Designated Provisions sited at two of our schools. All schools received their Academy Orders on the same date and all converted on the same date. The Trust is a limited company by guarantee and is registered in England. The main purpose of the Trust is to be a place where schools (convertor or sponsor) can work collaboratively to be the best they can be. To support the well-being and development of staff so that they constantly perform to a high level and retention remains high. All schools are currently judged Good by Ofsted and we want to maintain our good judgements and ultimately strive for outstanding status. We are also passionate about enabling the sharing of best practice and achieving the economies of scale across the group of schools’ ensuring the very best value for money. The aim is for all schools in the Trust to be successful, self-governing schools providing the very best education for the children in its care. Much of the work in the first year will be focused on embedding systems and processes in order to have the solid foundations upon which we can take the next steps in our growth.

Established in 1990, Twinfix are still a family owned and managed business, with a long standing history of providing quality products in the roof glazing and canopy market. From its original roots as polycarbonate and glazing bar suppliers, Twinfix now offer a full range of glazing products from the original glazing bar range to the non-fragile Multi-Link-Panel which is often incorporated into a wide variety of canopies, covered walkways and shelters. Working across many sectors, including rail, education, industrial and retail, Twinfix offers a full service from initial enquiry and advice on projects, to design, manufacture and installation. Twinfix pride themselves on product development and introducing new roofing and canopy products to the market. The Multi-Link-Panel NF is a core product. These panels are commonly used to form the glazed roof of canopies, walkways and shelters as well as overhead glazing in roof lights. Consisting of a lightweight and durable powder coated aluminium frame glazed with polycarbonate, this fix-and-link system is incredibly quick to install. It also features an innovative reinforcing technique that allows the glazed panels to pass the HSE test procedure for Non Fragile Roofing Assemblies (ACR[M]001:2019) as detailed in HSG33.

The Grafton Academy of Fashion Design was founded in 1938 by Pauline Elizabeth Keller Clotworthy. Born in 1912, Pauline was brought up in a large house in Glenageary, with several generations of family around her. Pauline showed a keen interest in sketching and writing and went on to study at Dublin's Metropolitan School of Art (now the National College of Art and Design). It was there that one of Pauline's tutors, artist Seán Keating cautioned her on turning her life drawing into fashion illustrations, this only encouraged Pauline who then went on to study the art of representing fabrics and textures using watercolour in Browns Paris School of Fashion in London. Upon her return to Dublin, Pauline was advised to further educate herself on how to realise her fashion drawings. Pauline returned to London to train at the British institute of Dress Designing. Pauline, understanding that she had benefited from an education that was not available in Ireland, decided she wanted to share the skills she had acquired. Shortly after graduating in 1938, Pauline established the Grafton Academy, Ireland's first design school and within a year it had staged its debut show. Early graduates from the college include Neilli Mulcahy, Ib Jorgensen and Clodagh Phillips, all of whom made a significant contribution in promoting Irish fashion culture, both home and abroad.

You must enter all your qualifications from secondary education onwards – whether you have the result (even any that were ungraded) or you’re still awaiting exams and results. This helps unis and colleges to understand if you meet their entry requirements. However, sometimes a uni or college will make you an offer even if you don't meet the exact grades they're asking for. If you have any questions about entry requirements, speak to the uni/college before you apply. If you're waiting for results, these are the exam results we're able to process and forward on to unis and colleges. If any of your pending qualifications aren't on this list, you still need to add them to your application, but also remember you’ll need to send the results on to your chosen universities and colleges when you get them. If you studied at a uni or college but didn't finish the course, you still need to enter these details. Include the start and finish date, and state that you didn't receive any qualifications there. If you are currently studying for a qualification or awaiting results, it is important you make sure your referee adds your predicted grades to your application – some universities and colleges will not consider your application without them. It's really important you enter the right qualifications on your application – especially if you're taking a vocational qualification, such as a BTEC – as there are a number of different options to choose from in the application, depending on the size and type of qualification you're taking.
