She is passionate about raising the standards in social care and helping others. Alison is a Dignity Champion and wants to raise the awareness of dignity through her work. Whilst the company has grown considerably it remains a family run business. Tony, Alison’s husband, joined the business in August 2015. His background is management in the motor trade. He runs the office and administration team. He has learnt a lot about social care in the past few years and has the same drive and passion as Alison to make changes to the way people work in social care. He has been an invaluable member of the team as he has seen the social care sector with ‘fresh eyes’ and has questioned the way we work in the social care sector.

We aim to keep a tonne of each clay in stock at any time, in short we have everything from the Potteries and more under one roof! Our website is a very user friendly place for buying everything you require for ceramics. It has helpful tips and product information too in the useful information section. We offer an excellent same day dispatch, next day delivery on orders placed before 3pm. Our shop is a lovely place to visit, with our clays and glazes on display, along with tools, books and exciting new products. You can also see samples of finished fired products. We also have a sale section in the front of our shop where you can pick up bargains. Hi I'm Lauren, Designer, Maker and Founder of Lauren Holloway - Sustainable Bags & Accessories handmade in Bristol. My journey started in 2013 when I dug out a dusty vintage Singer sewing machine and taught myself how to make bags. I created my first collection from the bedroom of my flat, opened an Etsy shop and the rest is history! I love the whole process of designing and making - from coming up with the initial idea to handpicking each element from fabrics to hardware, focusing not only on functionality but on aesthetics and originality. My aim is to create beautiful products that are made with care and attention to detail with a focus on sustainable and ethical manufacturing. I have always been inspired by my travels around the globe, especially the beautiful patterns of Japan and the bold, colourful fabrics of Bali. My aim is to create sustainable, unique and practical bags that reflect your values and bring a little sunshine into your world! I really hope you enjoy using my products as much I enjoy designing and making them. You might have known me as Maybe Mabel in the past. In September 2021 I changed my business name, you can read about the change over on the blog post.

Paula Hewitt who established Breathe and now runs sessions throughout the Bristol area has a background in health & fitness having previously being owner manager of a fitness health center and being a qualified exercise to music teacher. Having also worked in corporate companies where she saw how stress had an impact on the overall health and well being and performance of staff and seeing the benefits exercise had not only physically but also mentally on those with a regular fitness regime Paula became increasingly interested in a holistic approach to health and well being and was aware of the utmost importance of the mental as well as physical health.
