What is CCPE? CCPE is a well-established, charitable organisation providing counselling and psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, adolescents, children and families through a strong, diverse community of over 100 counsellors and psychotherapists practising at the centre. CCPE also runs a range of accredited professional counselling and psychotherapy training programmes with a transpersonal and integrative orientation. including Fundamental Skills, Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (leading to accreditation as a psychotherapist) and two MA courses (child, adolescent and family therapy and a research masters both validated by The University of Northampton). There are also post-graduate trainings in dreamwork, couple counselling and supervision. In addition there is always a rich variety of continuing professional development on offer. CCPE Staff 100 counsellors and psychotherapists work at the CCPE, with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The Building Beauchamp Lodge is CCPE's home and the place where a rich variety of people come to work and meet. It is a seven storey Regency building situated on the bank of the Grand Union Canal at Little Venice. The building has been used for a variety of purposes since its construction in 1853 and has had some illustrious residents including the writer Katherine Mansfield, and Napoleon III. In the last century it has mainly been used for charitable purposes.

Maree and Charlotte have known each other in a professional capacity for over ten years and are keen to improve the provision for children and young people with SEND by supporting staff within education, health and social care. They are also keen to support parents and carers to navigate SEND processes to enable them to achieve the best possible outcomes for their children. Maree Thorn Maree filter Maree is an experienced teacher and SENCo who has worked in a wide variety of educational settings, including early years, primary, secondary, mainstream and special schools. She is currently commissioned by Bedford Borough Council as a SEND Teaching and Learning Advisor to support and advise local primary schools on their strategic SEND provision. She also provides specialist teaching for children and young people who cannot attend school for a variety of reasons, such as medical needs or school based anxiety. She has a Bachelor’s degree in primary education, Qualified Teacher Status, a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs Coordination and has gained the National Award for SEN Co-ordination. She has previous experience of being a school governor, and is currently a trustee for a local charity foundation, sitting on the board of school governors and fostering committee. Maree has experience of supporting senior leaders to review their SEND processes and identify areas in need of improvement within their settings; mentoring and coaching staff to improve their individual practices; and supporting governors and trustees to understand school requirements and their responsibilities. Maree has a diagnosis of ADHD and so fully understands the challenges that people who are neurodivergent can experience. With a family history of special needs, she has long had an interest in ensuring children with SEND are able to achieve their own individual outcomes and giving them the best opportunities for a full and rich life.

IH Bristol was started in 1987 as The Language Project by Val, while studying for her PhD. The school has been teaching students ever since and it is the biggest remaining family owned and operated language school in Bristol. We joined the International House global network of affiliated language schools in 2009 and are proud to be members of such a highly regarded, diverse and vibrant organisation. Over the course of the years we expanded into two beautiful period buildings in the Clifton distric and diversified into teacher training, exams, junior summer - and winter - school and foreign languages. In 2019-2020 we added a new custom-built student common room to our Queens Avenue building, furthering our ambition to always put the student experience first. IH Bristol aims to give back to the community: we have taught many refugee classes in Bristol and have been involved in development projects in Cuba, Angola and Vietnam. We adapter our buildings for Covid very early so that we could facilitate English exams for medical professionals needed by the NHS. And let's not forget our free exercises and our Phrase of the Day videos, which can help students worldwide to increase their knowledge on a daily basis. We are working towards making our operation more environmentally sustainable and have so far installed 100s of ultra low energy light fittings and fixtures and sophisticated heating controls. First Step currently works with over 100 pre-school children, and families, offering support, information, and encouragement. Our club provides everything you’ll need to learn and continue fencing. There’s no rush for you to buy your own kit! We offer two forms of beginners tuition: Group Classes that are held at set dates throughout the year and 1-to-1/small group lessons where you or family/friends can receive personalised tuition from one of our club coaches. All training takes place on Thursday evenings from 7.30 pm onwards at Ormiston Denes Community Sports Centre, Lowestoft. Minimum age is 7.
