Computer for Adults Two levels with examinations and national qualifications (CLAIT OCR) Turkish Literacy for Women Turkish Reading and Writing classes for women. Turkish, Maths and Science for Children Weekend classes and Homework Clubs for children from 7 until 14 years of age. GCSE Maths & Science classes for children and adults of all ages. Turkish Language Courses Weekly classes for English speakers wishing to learn Turkish from complete beginners to intermediate level. TEG Information Advice and Guidence A bilingual user/client centre with impartial advice, information and support. General Support Call or drop for general support. Staff will either help you on the spot, make an appointment, or refer you to another appropriate service. Employment & Educational Advice Make an appointment for specific IAG including Comparability Statement from NARIC. Legal Advice Make an appointment for legal advice including Ankara Agreements, Work Permits, Home Office Issues, Benefits and Housing including buying your home. Since Christopher drowned I/RASS have educated over 500.000 young people and adults across North Wales UK and Ireland as to the dangers of open water. From the beginning I wanted to create a Legacy which would leave a memorable impact on both young people and adults in making them more aware of their own and others safety. The strain on our emergency services over the years and ongoing research has proved that CPR First Aid and SABL Education particularly in Wales was not on our curriculum and therefore in 2021 RASS in Partnership with Ajuda Training will provide this extra service across Wales. This would help in many ways to reduce incidents where people were rescued and aid in the saving of lives using the education taught on a peer to peer basis. RASS works with all the emergency services across the UK and is proud to be involved in the – All Wales Drowning Prevention Strategy of which members are RLSS RNLI ROSPA CFOA MPA to name but a few. Awards RASS has received recognition from Emergency Services across the UK and beyond. Awards such as Free To Network Resilience In Business – Finalist Pride of Britain – Special Achievement Award National Lottery Awards – presented By Bear Grylls – WCVA Award – Liverpool Lifestyle Award – Special Achievement The project is needed as there is not enough Water Safety and Lifesaving Education. For as long as I can remember there has always been thread in some form or another in my life. Be it stitching embroidery kits,a french knitting dolly or even hooking a rug when I was a child. I formalized my threadiness with a three year apprenticeship at The Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace, receiving the best training in all aspects of hand embroidery. From goldwork to bothsides alike with canvas work, stumpwork, beadwork, jacobean and many other wonderful techniques thrown in for good measure. Upon completing my apprenticeship I went to work for Jimmy Choo couture and the Jim Henson Company. I followed that path towards status and salary. As a senior executive, I had it all; the flash car on the driveway, the luxury holidays and a well-respected position within the company. In addition, I was bringing up my children to be polite, well-rounded and ambitious. My home was clean and welcoming, freshly cooked dinners were served each mealtime and weekends were spent at an array of social events. It sounds fantastic and I had convinced myself that this was everything I wanted, but somehow I still felt unhappy. I brushed aside the sleepless nights and smiled despite regularly feeling overwhelmed. I believed that being permanently stressed and busy was a sign that I’d earned my stars. Stopped in my Tracks Even when the cracks started to show, I kept going. I couldn’t see any other option. It took a major blow to my health to completely take me out of action. I had no choice but to stop. My life as I knew it had come to an end. There’s no doubt that serious ill-health impacted every area of my life. However, rather than being a tragedy, it was a turning point. I had time to think and I finally accepted that I wasn’t healthy or genuinely happy. My lifestyle and my mindset needed to change. I decided to channel my energy into new pursuits, particularly those which would benefit my mental and physical health. I committed to fully embracing training in NLP Coaching, Rapid Transformational Therapy and Nordic Walking. Gaining accreditation and putting my skills into practice has helped me to change and gain confidence, whilst helping others to get more from their lives. I now have a new definition of success; a career where I help people to live lighter lives without pills or pain.

It seems almost unbelievable what a huge development F AIR has undergone during its existence. The original intention to found a company for the pleasure of flying has grown into one of the largest aviation schools in Central and Eastern Europe. We are extremely proud of the fact that we became the first private flight school in the Czech Republic in the early nineties, and that we defended our primacy in 2000, when we were the first to meet the requirements of the European Joint Aviation Regulations JAR-FCL 1 (Joint Aviation Rules) and thus became the international school CZ/FTO-001. Today, we can teach flying to a person of mature age who just wants to experience and feel the beauty of the third dimension, as well as a young boy or girl who wants to fulfill their dream and become a pilot of a commercial plane. Our school has the most modern technology and methodology it uses to train pilots, a corps of experienced instructors and a background that provides excellent conditions not only for students in training, but also for pilots who come to rent planes from us. In addition to the aviation school, our main services include aircraft sales and service, aircraft rental, aviation work, events for companies, aviation advertising and adventure flights. Even in these areas, we try to do everything to make our customers feel at home. We want to be a pleasant and meaningful place to provide all aviation services and to spend leisure time on the ground and in the air. Who : Creative Catalyst (Scotland) CIC is a social enterprise which supports young people into Creative Careers. After establishing and running a similar two year pilot project for young creatives as part of the lead up to Perth Creative Exchange and The Famous Grouse Ideas Centre opening , founding director Helen O’Brien decided to take the model of this project forward as a social enterprise. In September 2019 we successfully received ‘Start It’ funding from Firstport, and moved into our new studio at Perth Creative Exchange in November 2019. We have just received Firstport ‘Build It’ funding to support and embed our development in 2021-22. We offer creative employability opportunities for young people who face barriers to employment and training in Perth & Kinross. This project is specifically targeted at young creative individuals who need support to develop their confidence in their creative skills and abilities, and signpost to other opportunities and experiences that will support them with next steps of a creative career. We work alongside other 16+ support agencies in Perth & Kinross who refer young people to us, and we welcome individuals and support workers to contact us directly. How: We offer work experience and mentoring opportunities with professional artists and makers who run live creative projects for us, from design and prototyping an idea, to making a final product, marketing and selling; visit shop here. These projects develop a broad spectrum of practical creative and transferable skills including using imagination, problem solving, clear communication, persistence, self discipline, collaboration and working to a deadline. We also run creative workshops and programmes for children, families and communities which offer opportunities for our young people to work alongside a lead artist to gain confidence and experience of delivering projects with different age groups.

The ASP model is a dynamic framework developed to promote and develop effective multi-agency partnership working across the South West region to bring human trafficking and modern slavery to an end. The model consists of localised partnerships and overarching regional board. The local partnerships represent agencies working within police force areas (Avon and Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire and Dorset). The regional board consists of the chairs of each of the local partnerships and representatives from agencies with a South West remit. The ASP Coordinator provides administrative support to the partnerships and provides a conduit for information to flow between the local and regional boards. The ASP has developed its strategy based around the government’s 4P Modern Slavery Strategy. The government’s strategy looks at how to Pursue prosecutions and methods to disrupt individuals and groups responsible for modern slavery, Prevent people from engaging in or facilitating modern slavery, Protect vulnerable people from exploitation and Prepare frontline professionals to identify and support victims. The ASP looks to support this strategy throughout the South West of England in a number of ways. These include raising awareness and providing training to organisations involved in the ASP as well as the facilitation of the sharing of information and intelligence between organisations to enable a joined up approach to disrupting and prosecuting perpetrators and to assisting victims. We aim to provide a platform to enable multi agency strategic thinking across the South West region in line with this strategy and each of the ASPs assess the work they are doing against this strategy quarterly. We are fully aware that slavery and trafficking respects no territorial boundaries and the model has been developed to ensure effective sharing of information, best practice and a comprehensive, cohesive and united response to slavery across the region.
