Located on a working arable and pastoral mixed farm, the Rural Skills Centre
aims to provide a creative outlet within the realms of taught workshops. We are
perfectly located in the South Wales countryside with beautiful views and
scenery, just a few minutes off the M4 in-between Newport and Cardiff. What
better place to engage in creative learning than the living space of
yesteryear’s work horses (literally!). Once a dilapidated stable block complete
with more than its fair share of woodworm, is now a delightful open learning
space for you to enjoy on any of our workshops along with the ‘tack room’ which
used to house the tack/equipment for the horses but is now a beautiful space to
take a break with a cup of tea and plenty cake during workshops.
