I have been practising yoga since 2001 and Qigong since 2017. My practice includes pranayama, yoga nidra, seasonal flow, vinyasa flow, yin and qigong. All practices have influenced my physical, emotional and mental wellbeing and have been life changing. I am passionate about creating opportunities for others to experience the benefits yoga and qigong can bring. My journey has been strongly influenced by the instruction and support I have received from the teachers who have inspired me and whose encouragement ultimately led me to train as a teacher. My teaching journey started with teaching children yoga; having always enjoyed working with children and holding a firm belief in making things better and easier for them, it seemed natural to combine two of my passions – yoga and children. If only I had known then how simple breathing activities could help calm my mind and balancing as a tree could help focus my mind…..perhaps exams wouldn’t have been so stressful and bullying not been so distressing. I now teach all age groups from babies to teens and adults, including children with additional needs. My classes are influenced by the styles of yoga I have practised over the years and the teachers who have inspired me. I teach from the heart and with a sense of humour. I believe yoga is creative, fun and educational, suitable for all ages and capabilities. Yoga gives us the understanding and practical applications to be the best people we can be and to live by our values; it is an honour to have this practice in my life. I am a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher, completing my 200 hours with Seasonal Yoga Academy in Glasgow. I trained with Birthlight to teach babies and toddlers, and holds certifications in children’s yoga with Breathe and Be You, and yoga for additional needs, completed with Special Yoga. A huge thank you to all my incredible teachers who have inspired me, encouraged me and taught me. I initially qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga, then trained in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Tradition to develop a stronger foundation. I have been in training and practising ever since! I focus on Therapeutic styles of Yoga for healing Body-Heart-Mind-Soul - including - Conscious Breathwork; Yoga Nidra Deep Rest; Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs; Yin Yoga; Restorative Yoga; Yoga for Menopause; Energy Medicine Yoga, Mindfulness & Meditation to name a few. I am a Qualified Homeopath LICH (since 1995) and practice using all my skills in a holistic way. I aim to offer an environment that is nourishing, nurturing, mindful & peaceful. Practices that encourage a self healing pathway to balance our systems to develop our wellbeing. The Walled Garden is a beautiful five-acre landscaped formal garden situated in Moreton, Dorset. With on site café, garden shop (including a huge range of plants for sale), children’s play park, and a range of small animals to see! The Walled Garden also offers FREE PARKING and dogs on leads are welcome. We are the perfect day out in Dorset. Explore the gardens solo, or with friends, and stop by the Dovecote Café for delicious homemade food, fresh cakes, pasties and more! We also host regular seasonal and unique events from garden trails for children, crafts, fetes, yoga, open air art exhibitions, and more! For the formal gardens, a suggested Admission Donation of £3 is politely requested (not required for family area or café). All donations go back in to the continued maintenance and development of the site. The Walled Garden re-opened to the public in May 2015, and has undergone significant replanting and restoration since then. A wide variety of perennial plants sit in the boarders, which have been styled in original Georgian and Victorian designs. 2022 will see continued development of different areas in the garden, led by our Head Gardener Martin and his team. We’ll also be looking to expand the services we provide, events, and more. We look forward to seeing you! Moreton village is close to the historic market town of Dorchester and situated on the River Frome. Moreton has become well known because of its association with T. E. Lawrence, also known as Lawrence of Arabia. T. E. Lawrence lived near to Moreton when he served at Bovington Camp and was later buried in Moreton Church Yard. Every year thousands of visitors are drawn to Moreton to visit his grave, which backs onto The Walled Garden. Many visitors also visit the village to see the Church’s unique engraved glass windows by poet and artist Sir Laurence Whistler.

Passionate about all things floral and handcrafted Since I can remember, I have always loved flowers. My earliest memories are of helping my Grandmother in her potting shed with her African Violets. The most treasured are walking amongst her beautiful Rose Garden with it's heady scents and gorgeous blooms. Those memories combine together with the privilege of being a daughter of a Artisan Jeweler. I would often sit with my Father in his workshop and loved watching the process, from start to finish. From drawing the design to moulding the piece from the bare elements to creating something truly beautiful with his hands. From this, I have developed the utmost respect for handmade articles and as such it is my joy to create, teach and inspire Floristry, arts and crafts related pieces in a relaxed and informal way Everyone is welcome no matter the skill level from novice to advanced. With a little direction and encouragement each student is often very pleased and most certainly proud of their achievement🤩

Due to the Coronavirus we are currently only courses and workshops on a by appointment basis only. If you would like to book please contact me directly . Sarah says ‘As well as making handmade chocolates we specialise in the tuition of chocolate making’. If you would like to know about how it all started then read on! Before starting on my ‘chocolate journey’ I worked in the telecoms industry and then with my husband running our own railway engineering business where I was (and still am) Finance Director in my spare time! The railway business also operates Poplar Miniature Railway at Poplar Nurseries Marks Tey. In May 2012, I was asked to run a chocolate stall at a local pub ‘fund raiser’ and loved it so much I decided to set up my own business. Since then I have expanded to make a wider range of chocolates, which as well as selling from my shop at Poplar Nurseries I sell to local hotels, farm shops, florists and seasonal markets. My customers currently include The Angel Hotel Bury, The Salthouse at Ipswich, Dilly’s florist Colchester, The Hearing Centre Colchester.

At Hambrooks, we have designed nine beautiful show gardens to help you find inspiration for your own. You will find a range of styles and plants that provide ideas to take-away, suitable for any site and for however you want to use your outside space. Each garden has year-round interest, with some seasonal highlights, and each showcases different hard-landscaping, furniture, lighting or shading options. Our covered walkway means you can view each garden in the dry (or the shade) all year round. But we encourage you to step into the gardens too, to get a sense of how they feel for you. The average garden in the UK is just 188 square metres*; that’s something like 11 by 17 metres (or 36 by 56 feet). Our show gardens are deliberately within this range, to ensure that what we’re showcasing is achievable, no matter how large or small your space at home. Get a taste of each garden by clicking the links below. Each show garden page includes photos, a plan and dimensions, and lists of the key plants and materials used.
