This course is suitable for anyone looking to become an accredited tutor or trainer. You may be new to the teaching or training sector; thinking of a career in training and development, or already training / tutoring and would like to become accredited. The course is delivered over 5 half day workshops which develop your knowledge and skills of training techniques. There is some home study, a tutoring session and a 20 minute micro-teach. The total duration of the course is approximately 8 weeks. Through attending this course, you will be able to: Plan, design and deliver a training session using appropriate methods Engage learners using a range of techniques and manage a learning environment Monitor, assess and evaluate training Reflect on own practice and identify areas for development Further Information You will be set self study to complete after each session. This should not take more than 1-2 hours per week. We are on hand to answer any questions you may have throughout your course. You will prepare a microteach session on a topic of your choice, you will have a mentoring session with your tutor to prepare you for this. It had all the elements to make it challenging, stretching, stimulating and, above all, thoroughly practicalPSYCHOTHERAPIST Part 2 of the 3-part Human Givens Diploma course consists of ten days of highly-focused and enjoyable work, plus home study and skills practice. The two separate weeks are held approximately a month apart and include the observation of therapy sessions carried out by HG tutors with real patients. The profound teaching style and practical approach is highly stimulating and generates much extra-curricular thought and discussion. During the two weeks you will have plenty of opportunity to expand upon and consolidate the knowledge and skills you have obtained on the shorter courses that make up Part 1 of the Diploma. A challenging and enjoyable week of music-making in a very friendly atmosphere. A feature of the Music Summer School is the very high ratio of tutors to participants, with a professional tutor for each instrumental and vocal section. All courses enjoy wide-ranging and exciting repertoire. There will also be a range of open sessions run by members of the tutoring team, plus informal sessions which are member-led. Concerts take place on many of the evenings, given both by participants and professionals. From 2024 we will be using the excellent facilities provided by Uppingham School in the county of Rutland.
