I have always had a personal interest in self help and assisted therapy and began training in NLP (Neuro Linguistic programming) over 20 years ago, I have trained with both Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna who are both recognised leaders in this field. Gaining qualifications in both hypnotherapy and psychotherapy I am a member of the National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society and my training reflects the standards and ongoing training required by active members. I have ensured that my training provides the most recognised and up to date therapeutic interventions which I believe enhances my natural ability to understand and offer help to those who feel that therapy will empower and enable them to live the life they choose. Using an eclectic approach I am able to tailor bespoke treatment plans using the strengths of the client to gain understanding and achieve the best possible results. I am trained in the use of CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), PCT (person centred therapy) and psychodynamic therapy. As a published author I write all my own scripts when using hypnotherapy ensuring they have maximum effect enabling change at a subconscious level. I understand the life journey that brings a client to therapy is unique and on that basis I will offer a bespoke therapeutic package just for you. By running my practise from home I can offer a safe and comfortable environment without losing any of the professional standards you would expect. Confidentiality is foremost in my work and I work with the code of ethics that is required as a member of the National Counselling Society, and The National Hypnotherapy Society. Maree and Charlotte have known each other in a professional capacity for over ten years and are keen to improve the provision for children and young people with SEND by supporting staff within education, health and social care. They are also keen to support parents and carers to navigate SEND processes to enable them to achieve the best possible outcomes for their children. Maree Thorn Maree filter Maree is an experienced teacher and SENCo who has worked in a wide variety of educational settings, including early years, primary, secondary, mainstream and special schools. She is currently commissioned by Bedford Borough Council as a SEND Teaching and Learning Advisor to support and advise local primary schools on their strategic SEND provision. She also provides specialist teaching for children and young people who cannot attend school for a variety of reasons, such as medical needs or school based anxiety. She has a Bachelor’s degree in primary education, Qualified Teacher Status, a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs Coordination and has gained the National Award for SEN Co-ordination. She has previous experience of being a school governor, and is currently a trustee for a local charity foundation, sitting on the board of school governors and fostering committee. Maree has experience of supporting senior leaders to review their SEND processes and identify areas in need of improvement within their settings; mentoring and coaching staff to improve their individual practices; and supporting governors and trustees to understand school requirements and their responsibilities. Maree has a diagnosis of ADHD and so fully understands the challenges that people who are neurodivergent can experience. With a family history of special needs, she has long had an interest in ensuring children with SEND are able to achieve their own individual outcomes and giving them the best opportunities for a full and rich life.

Check us out!The Falconry School in Gloucestershire, UK, is a small establishment dedicated to showing best practices in how to care for, handle and fly birds of prey, for the purposes of falconry. The school has an enviable reputation, and students have come from all over the world to learn about the training and management of birds of prey. Much of our tuition is on a one-to-one basis, enabling students to get the maximum value from their course or coaching. The Falconry School is not a centre which is open to casual visitors. Often such falconry/bird of prey centres provide courses or a Falconry Experience day as an add-on to their usual activities, but these are our PRIMARY activities. Falconry may be defined as the use of trained raptors for hunting, but it is quite possible to keep and fly birds of prey without hunting with them. The important word is “fly”, and everything that falconry is about is the flight, and all our careful management, handling and training leads to this ultimate purpose. Therefore, at The Falconry School, participants, students and spectators will NOT see dozens of these superb creatures locked in cages, as may be found in a zoo or bird of prey centre. Instead, you will see a relatively small number of falcons, hawks and owls, kept in readiness for free flight every day, in the peak of condition. As such, this is more similar to the way a private falconer would hope to maintain their own hunting raptors.
