Our 5-week mindfulness meditation workshop series is for those interested in cultivating a mediation practice but don't know where or how to start.
Throughout the 5 weeks, we will delve into the relationship between mindfulness and meditation and give you the tools to begin to better understand your thoughts, emotions and responses and your habitual patterns of behaviour.
We will also look at the impact of language, offering various ways to express kindness and compassion, both to yourself and others and how making small changes to our words, can have a big impact on our actions and decisions.
Each week there will be guided meditations that give you time and space to practice what you are learning. At the end of each guided practice there will have time for discussion and questions.
Through these workshops, you’ll gain the knowledge and tools necessary to establish a meaningful meditation practice, bringing joy, clarity, acceptance, and a profound sense of inner peace to your daily life.
Week 1 - Setting The Foundation
Discover the relationship between mindfulness and meditation. Learn our 6 step technique to practicing mindfulness meditation.
Week 2 - Expectation vs. reality
Learn about the default mode network and the impact it can have on your meditation practice.
Week 3 - Connecting with our intuition
Learn about how our habitual patterns of behaviour can impact our ability to make informed choices
Week 4 - Words Matter
Explore the power of affirmations and gratitude and practice a loving kindness (Metta) meditation.
Week 5 - Living more mindfully
From the cushion to our lives; how we can integrate what we learn from our meditation into how we show up for ourselves, others and the world around us.
