Lino Print a Holiday Postcard - 15th August

Course information: Lino printed postcard. This workshop is a fun day learning how to print a set of ‘jigsaw’ lino prints. You will learn how to create a design, use lino cutting tools correctly, ink your block and print your own postcard. You will have the opportunity to print by hand and using a small craft press. Please bring ideas and photos for a fun A6 postcard design. You may like to bring a sketchbook and some coloured pencils/pens so you can plan your design.

Venue: Westhampnett community hall, Hadrian Drive, Chichester PO18 0FP
Westhampnett community hall can be found by traveling out of Chichester along Hadrian’s road. There is ample parking to the rear of the hall. Tea and coffee are supplied throughout the day. Bring a packed lunch or Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl and several food vans are a short drive away from the hall.
 
Materials: All lino printing materials will be supplied for use on the day to make a set of 8 postcards.
 
You will also have access to my Student Chatroom where you can post images of your work to share with and get feedback from other students and your tutor after the session.
